APPROVALS AND CERTIFICATIONS


There are different types of homologations and safety certifications concerning riding helmets, and each one requires different requirements: this is why it is important to choose a helmet with the highest possible number of approvals / certifications.
 
Each certification refers to a specific homologation (ie a set of regulations) that the helmets must comply with in order to obtain it.

KEP ITALIA helmets are actually among the safest riding helmets in the world: respecting the requirements of the following standards. So here they are:
 
The European CE, which refers to the VG1 01.040 2014-12 regulation
The American and Canadian SEI refer to the ASTM F1163 / 2015 regulation
